Terms and Conditions
General Information
The South Australian Pride Awards 2025 are organised by Pride Adelaide, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and supporting the LGBTQIA+ communities in South Australia. By participating in the awards, all nominators, nominees, voters, and participants agree to these terms and conditions.
Nominations
Nominations open on 5 February 2025 and close on 31 March 2025. Nominations are open to the public and must be submitted using the official nomination form on the Pride Adelaide website.
Nominations must include the nominee’s full name and contact details (email and/or phone number) and a detailed explanation of why the nominee deserves the award, aligned with the eligibility criteria for the relevant category. Nominations cannot be submitted anonymously.
The nominator’s name and contact details must be provided. Incomplete nominations or those submitted after the closing date will not be considered. At the close of nominations, all nominees will be contacted to confirm their acceptance.
Accepted nominees will be required to accept the nomination in the first instance, and complete a nominee profile to assist with further assessment.
Public Voting and Panel Assessment
Public voting will take place from 15 April 2025 to 9 June 2025. All accepted nominations will be published on the Pride Adelaide website for public voting. The top three finalists in each category, as determined by the public vote, will then be reviewed by an independent panel.

Voting is open to the public via the Pride Adelaide website. Each person is allowed one vote per category. Duplicate or fraudulent votes will not be counted.
An independent panel will assess the top three voted finalists in each category after public voting has concluded. Panel scores will be based on detailed marking criteria for each award category, ensuring a fair and professional evaluation. The panel will be announced prior to voting commencing.

Finalists and Winner Announcement
Finalists will be announced on 16 June 2025. Each finalist in each award category will receive one (1) complimentary ticket to the South Australian Pride Gala on Friday, 27 June 2025. The winner, determined by a combination of public voting (50% weighting) and panel assessment (50% weighting) will be announced at the Gala. Finalists are encouraged to attend the event to celebrate their achievements and contributions.
Collection and Use of Information
By submitting a nomination or voting, participants consent to Pride Adelaide collecting and storing their personal information for the purposes of administering the awards. Information collected includes, but is not limited to, names, contact details, and nomination/voting details.
Nominee profiles and nomination details may be shared with the independent judging panel. Contact details provided by nominators and nominees will be used to communicate about the awards and related activities. Pride Adelaide is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants and will handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Award Categories and Criteria
Each award category has specific eligibility and selection criteria, which are available on the Pride Adelaide website. It is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure the nomination aligns with the relevant category criteria.
Disqualification
Pride Adelaide reserves the right to disqualify any nomination or vote that does not comply with these terms and conditions. Disqualification may occur if information is found to be fraudulent, incomplete, or misleading.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Pride Adelaide reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time to ensure the fair and transparent operation of the awards. Any updates to the terms and conditions will be published on the Pride Adelaide website.
